We walk for our son Tripp, a 2020 UMass Memorial Health NICU graduate. Tripp was born far too early at 26 weeks in June 2020. He spent the next 107 days in the NICU and was finally able to come home on oxygen in October 2020. We are forever grateful for the life saving care that the staff in the NICU provided our son and family. Every member of his team including the doctors, nurses, respiratory therapists, lactation consultants and front desk staff had a positive and lasting impact on our NICU experience. We are so thankful that because of the compassionate care that he received, Tripp is now a determined, resilient, and sweet 4 year old who loves Paw Patrol, monster trucks, and trains! We walk to support the UMASS Memorial NICU and their efforts to continue providing exceptional care to other tiny warriors and their families. Emily and PJ Strittmatter đź’— #NICUMiracle
